Members of the Board of Directors of Friends of Old Annville are elected for two-year terms and the active years for each member are indicated in the parentheses below. The board has four positions for officers, and up to eight positions for members-at-large.
President - Michael Schroeder (2023-24)

Mike Schroeder, who has been President of FOOA since 2013, is Professor Emeritus of History at Lebanon Valley College. Mike has led and/or been involved in more local groups and activities that can possibly be covered in this small bio. Suffice it to say that we are honored to have Mike as our President.

Doug, who serves as the director of bands, choirs, and orchestras at Susquehanna Township Middle School, has coordinated Historic Old Annville Day for the past 4 years and has been instrumental in looking after the Historic Annville Train Station.
Treasurer - Matt Woolson (2023-24)
Matt Woolson, who has served on three nonprofit boards in the past, worked in banking and finance for more than 10 years and earned an MBA from Binghamton University. Matt also worked in marketing in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries for more than 20 years before retiring late in 2020. Matt and his wife Mary, are also active, engaged members of the Quittie Creek Nature Park Committee.
Secretary - Joerg Meindl (2023-24)

Joerg Meindel is Associate professor of German and Global Studies at Lebanon Valley College. He received his PhD from the University of Kansas, and has expertise in the study of the Pennsylvania Dutch language.
Member-at-Large - Natalie Duvall (2024-25)
Natalie Duvall is an English teacher at the Milton Hershey School and the former director of the educational graduate programs at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She previously served as vice president of the Annville-Cleona Board of School Directors and secretary of the Project 13th Grade board. She has a doctorate in education from Johns Hopkins University and a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing. She and her husband Matt have lived in a historic home in Annville since 2007. They have four children and two cats.

Below you will find photos and brief biographies of two of our three new candidates for members at large; we are still awaiting the photo and biographical sketch of Elizabeth Davis.
A native of Annville, Christian Kreamer is a 2014 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School and a 2018 graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. Following his great grandfather, grandfather, and father in the funeral industry, Christian then graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2019. Christian joined the team at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. in October of 2019. He became owner and operator of Kreamer Funeral Home in 2022. Christian currently resides in Annville, and in his free time he enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing, exercising, yoga, Green Bay Packers football, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jack McClain, age 22, is a passionate hobbyist historian who graduated summa cum laude from Lebanon Valley College in 2024 with a degree in History. He currently works as an associate tour guide at Cornwall Iron Furnace. In his spare time, he participates in American Civil War reenactments at Gettysburg National Military Park and in other living history portrayals. He also enjoys creating history-themed content on streaming platforms such as Twitch, and caring for his animals on his 19th century farmette property in North Cornwall Township, where he lives with his mom.
