Facade Grants

The Façade Grant Assistance Program is designed to assist owners of private residences and independent businesses in restoring and preserving their historic buildings. The grant program will focus on the façades of historic properties within the historic district defined by the National Register of Historic Places (National Register Historic District) but will also consider historically significant structures outside of that district.  Façade work supported by these grants should generally be visible from the street and in the public view.

For the calendar year 2024, Friends of Old Annville hopes to make available up to $4,000 for the Facade Grant Assistance Program.  Applications will be accepted, and awards made on a rolling basis throughout the year.  The size of any single award could range from $500 to $4,000. In no case will the grant funding exceed 50% of the project costs. A Grant Application Packet, in the form of a Microsoft Word file, is available for download below.
