Park and Meet behind Christ UCC Church at 200 South White Oak Street in Annville

Literature and literacy have a rich history in Annville. Friends of Old Annville is delighted to offer this Literary & Literacy Walking Tour on Sunday, October 2 focusing on Annville's earliest schools, journalistic endeavours, and notable writers.

Developed by FOOA Board member Joanna Guldin-Noll, the walking tour features ten stops, where your tour guides will offer interesting details of key institutions, individuals, and events in the literary history of our town.

A map of the tour is provided at the bottom of this page. The walk begins at Christ UCC Church and ends at the fountain area in the Annville Town Square. At the town square (Stop 10 on the map), we will enjoy refreshments as we listen to short, selected readings from Annville authors.

We offer a gloss, full-color booklet to tour participants that includes images and detailed descriptions of the literary history of Annville. The cost of the booklet is $5 and you can order your booklets when you register for the walk using the electronic form below.
