103 East Main Street

Brightbill Residence

In the mid-19th century, this building served as home to Dr. Gideon Fahnestock, a young physician who visited his patients on horseback.  By 1875, the home belonged to S.L. Brightbill, who made a comfortable living from his dealings in coal and the Cashier Savings and Deposit Bank of Annville.

The building now houses several administrative offices of Lebanon Valley College, including offices dedicated to alumni and advancement.
